SOUTH CENTRAL NOLLYWOOD TASKFORCE
By the resolution of the members of the taskforce who are also heads of their different guilds, the different dates for guild meetings have now been harmonised and henceforth, all the guilds will hold their general meetings on the last Thursday of every month. This will save all filmmakers the cost of breaking shoot for every guild on the different days they have their meetings.

SCENT will henceforth ensure that film production in its entirety and without prejudice to genre, are carried out with ONLY registered guild members. Failure to comply with this resolution will result in other guilds involved in such a production withdrawing their members and consequently sanctioning them from further involvement in the said production.

SCENT will work towards training and re-orientation of all guild members through seminars and workshops.

The Taskforce will serve as an efficient and effective channel of compliant and redress for aggrieved parties involved in any production.

It is in good faith that the Guild heads reached the above decisions and humbly enjoin all industry practitioners to work harmoniously towards achieving these set goals for the good of our means of livelihood. Official letters to effect  this policy
will be forwarded to all relevant authorities in the industry as soon as possible.
On 30th June, 2016,another  joint meeting involving the entire guild in Nollywood with the sole agenda to sensitize  the movie industry in South Central where it is seen as the heart of Nollywood,  bearing the production of lots of good and junk-like movies

On Behalf of the Taskforce
