A MAN'S SILENCE IS SPEECH

I have often seen my fellow ladies cry about how their men never told them he was not interested in them anymore. I see them taken unawares,  countless mind games used on them and still they keep waiting,  saying " he will say it,  if he doesn't want me anymore". You want something serious as a woman,  he just wants to have fun,  hang out and move on. When he declines your invitation to visit your family,  you say he didn't tell you he is not serious.
I am saying men are talking even when they are silent. Ladies are always driven by emotions and thoughts of what they want that they don't listen to the silence of their men. In a man's silence thousand words are spoken. Ladies just need to take some time out from their busy emotions and really listen without cooking up excuses to what men silence are saying. With men, silence is not always an affirmation. If he is not saying he wants something, he probably wants nothing. But i see ladies cook up excuses even when the handwriting is boldly written on the wall. Ladies say "he is probably shy,  i just need to give him sometime,  he is probably going through problems that he can't commit to a serious relationship, or maybe he is looking for the right time to say it." In his silence thousand words have been spoken. In his silent treatment the fact that he is not just into you have been communicated. In his silence,  the golden conversation you needed to have with him concerning your future,  you just had it. A man is talking even when silent but the women aren't listening.
Ladies love to be told what they want to hear,  even when it is all lies. We just love to believe the lies and damn the truth. Fighting for the uncertainty and ignoring the certainty. Sometimes that conversation  of your life you need to have is already been given to you through his silence. How long do you intend to wait,  ignoring the truth with the excuse of "he has to say it to my face." He has said it with his silence but you just don't want to believe it.
If ladies can listen to guys silence things will end more civilly,  and less ugly.
Listen to a man's silence,  sometimes in a guy's  moment of  silence thousand words have been spoken.

WALKING ON A THIN ROPE

The new year has come. We have made new resolutions and are determined to defy all odds and keep them. With determination not fail ourselves and those that look up to us we start the year. But like humans walking on a thin rope our steps continue to waver. Trying to find a balance with nothing to hold on to for support,  we struggle with just the determination of our minds to stay on track. Soon we see ourselves falling off the rope and landing flat on our backs. We feel like we have failed ourselves and those around us. We beat ourselves not dealing with failure with pity,  unknowingly to us,  sometimes all we need to go a hundred times forward is to take one step backward. Taking a step back should not be seen as failure rather a time to stop going too fast ahead,  pause and observe what lies in front  of you. It is a time to re-examine what caused the fall and develop a counter measure to prevent future falls. Our strength is within us...as long as we do not give up on ourselves,  God will never give up on us. Never forget to ask him for strength as we are all walking on the thin rope of life...prone to waver or fall off.
